This is really the best shot there is of Cabo Pulmo by road. It is a sleepy little spot
along the shore of the Cabo Pulmo Marine Park. Sprung up from an old ranch outpost,
it holds more firmly to an extended family type flavor than a village.

Not quite a village it sports one short "main street" so to speak as the road passes through town.
This photo is taken driving into town.
On the right, not in the photo, is Tito's small resturaunt which opened the last week I was there, (more later)
on the left, sorta in the photo, is Pepe's dive shop, which was not open while I was there,
On the left, (the sea side) is a walled in enclosure which has some homes, Nancy's resturaunt, and the Cabo Pulmo Casas.

This photo shows just beyond the wall in the previous photo,
The lane to the left, before the bamboo fence is the entrance to the enclosure noted,
and inside the fence is the El Caballaro Resturaunt which quickly became one of my favorite morning haunts.
The sign on the bamboo/barbwire gate says they open at 7am, but the gate is rarely open before 8am
when I could slip in for coffee and letchee while I sat at a corner table and watched the two elderly proprieteresses
Open the storm shutters, sweep the blown sand from the place, and shake out the table cloths before breakfast began at 9am.
