Serious cross winds
Both Colby Hill #56 and Paul Keech #208 were taken out by wind on this corner. They hit some snow drifting on the road and the wind got ahold of their sleds. Though they crashed at the same place they did not collide with each other as the damage to their sleds my lead one to think!
Neither was hurt more than banged up, but it cannot be said the same for their sleds.

Fortunes of war
Here is Paul's sled, a bit more "used" than a few minuets ago.

His helmet got a bit of use on the asphalt. and took him a few hundred feet closer to the finish line.
