Riding across the tundra is certainly a different kind of riding for me. And the sudden heat wave has got us all feeling like spring is here! but wind is always a concern and people here take getting out in the country a very searious event. This is not a real friendly environment. The joke was made, that the natives didn't settle this particular section of barron wast land, it was the crazy wite man. |

After crossing the tundra and a few frozen slews, we crossed the Teller road and onto the new mining road up the snake river valley. |

The creeks that run under the roads in summer, are bright, light blue glaciers over them in the winter.

Here was our destination today, a small bowl on the west side of the valley. there was a bit more snow here to pull a few turns. |
