I'm sure by now you are wondering where the water is, well here it is.
We ended up almost back to the place we usually start our trips up the river.
And we had fun getting to the beginning too!
We never get tired of water, it adds a risky dimension to the otherwize... fantastic ride!
But inspite of that, we will skip over the usual water photos since there are other trips on file with that, let's get on up the river.
And here we are at the merging of the Kelsall lake and the Chilkat river.
Sean is looking at the head of the Chilkat, where we will be going.
Now I know I have titled this trip the "Kelsall" headwaters, when in reality it is the Chilkat headwaters, but I didn't want to confuse you since we took the same way as before to get here, the Kelsall merges into the Chilkat.
Is all that clear as mud?
Here is our last turn before entering the "canyon" which the river runs from.
The world here changes quite dramatically.
It has the Indiana Jones feel.
